Differences in the activity of superoxide dismutase, catalase (CAT) and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) as well as in the concentration of ascorbate, tocopherol and hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) were found in leaves from different layers of the Chinese cabbage (Brassica pekinensis (Lour.) Rupr.) head.
