  • Dietary omega-3 fatty acids retard coronary atherosclerosis. Previously, we demonstrated that dietary omega-3 fatty acids reduce platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)-A and PDGF-B mRNA levels in unstimulated, human mononuclear cells (MNCs).
