BACKGROUND Previous studies showed divergent results concerning the influence of medium-chain triacylglycerol (MCT) on lipoprotein metabolism. OBJECTIVE The objective of this study was to compare the effects of MCT and corn oil on plasma lipids in primary hypertriglyceridemic patients.
