Thermal and dielectric properties of the LTCC composites based on the eutectic system BaO–Al2O3–SiO2–B2O3

The low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) composites containing quartz based on the eutectic system BaO–Al2O3–SiO2–B2O3 are fabricated at the sintering temperature below 980 °C. Preparation process

Dielectric Properties of Lead Zirconate and Barium‐Lead Zirconate

Methods are described for preparing lead zirconate and mixtures of lead and barium zirconate in ceramic form. These compositions are shown to constitute a new class of ferroelectric materials having

Energy storage in ceramic dielectrics

An evaluation has been made of the energy storage capabilities of ceramic dielectrics that were considered likely to provide high energy/volume efficiency on the basis of their expected

Isothermal Phase Transitions in Ceramic Lead Zirconate

Constant temperature permittivity measurements of ceramic lead zirconate near 230°C revealed that the paraelectric to ferroelectric, ferroelectric to antiferroelectric, and antiferroelectric to

Effect of X-ray irradiation on dielectric properties of lead zirconate ceramics

The dielectric constant e and loss tangent, tan δ, of unirradiated and X-ray irradiated lead zirconate ceramic, prepared from reagent grade PbO and ZrO2 in equimolar proportion, have been studied as

Dielectric Properties of Lead Zirconate

In order to distinguish whether it is really a ferroelectric or not, the dielectric response of PbZr${\mathrm{O}}_{3}$ ceramic to biasing dc field has been examined. In contrast to ordinary

Densification during Sintering in the Presence of a Liquid Phase. I. Theory

The driving force leading to densification during sintering in the presence of a liquid phase and the material transport phenomena have been analyzed and relationships for the densification rate

Ferroelectricity and Antiferroelectricity in Ceramic PbZr O 3 Containing Ba or Sr

Phase transitions in solid solutions (Pb\char22{}Ba)Zr${\mathrm{O}}_{3}$ and (Pb\char22{}Sr)Zr${\mathrm{O}}_{3}$ have been studied by dielectric, dilatometric, and calorimetric measurements. It is
