Glucocorticoids play important roles in cell growth and differentiation. In this study, we investigated the effect of application of dexamethasone (DEX) at the early stage of chondrogenesis using the prechondrogenic cell line, ATDC5, which differentiates into chondrocytes in the presence of insulin.
