サツマイモネコブセンチュウによるネギ連作障害における土壌消毒剤と対抗植物を組み合わせた4年サイクルの防除法を確立した.1作目は,薬剤処理(クロルピクリン + 1,3-ジクロロプロペン剤,ダゾメット剤およびオキサミル剤)でサツマイモネコブセンチュウの密度が減少し,ネギの増収が認められた.防除効果は,土壌消毒剤(クロルピクリン + 1,3-ジクロロプロペン剤およびダゾメット剤)で高かった.土壌消毒剤の防除効果は,処理後2作目まで認められた.3作目にマメ科の対抗植物Crotalaria spectabilisの栽培でサツマイモネコブセンチュウの密度が抑制され,次作のネギは多収となった.本試験で実施した4年サイクルの体系は,土壌消毒剤と対抗植物を組み合わせることで,対抗植物の作付けによる収益面での問題を最小限に抑え,土壌消毒剤を多投しないサツマイモネコブセンチュウの防除法であり,ネギでの安定多収に有効な技術であると考えられる.
