Reverse transcription followed by real-time PCR assays based on TaqMan chemistry have been developed for the detection and quantification of Cucumber vein yellowing virus (CVYV) and Cucurbit yellow stunting disorder virus (CYSDV) in individual adults of the whitefly vector Bemisia tabaci.
