BACKGROUND Reports concerning the immunological functions of lymphocytes derived from umbilical cord blood cell (UCBC) have been limited. METHODS In murine syngeneic transplantation system using green fluorescent protein transgenic donors, UCBC-derived lymphocytes were studied for their immunological competence.
