A method of rooting cuttings from white pine trees is described. Approximately equal numbers of cuttings from diseased and healthy trees were rooted by this method. After the rooted cuttings were planted in the field, they were closely watched for root growth and the development of foliar injuries.

OZONE DAMAGE AND SEMIMATURE-TISSUE NEEDLE BLIGHT OF EASTERN WHITE PINE
TLDR
The daily average concentration of atmospheric ozone, relative to cracking by rubber test strips, was determined for three seasons and no apparent relationship was found between excessive rubber cracking and the occurrence of outbreaks of SNB on susceptible white pines.
