Sustained postcracking tensile resistance is a fundamental mechanical characteristic of ultra high-performance fiber-reinforced concrete (UHPFRC). This research program developed a simple, reliable direct tension test (DTT) method that can generate the uniaxial tensile mechanical response for both cast and extracted UHPFRC samples.
