A sensitive and specific method for the quantitative determination of gamithromycin in animal plasma, lung tissue and pulmonary epithelial lining fluid (PELF) using liquid chromatography combined with heated electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was developed.
