BACKGROUND A simple and meaningful health-related quality of life (HRQoL) questionnaire for gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) patients is lacking. AIM To develop and validate a disease-specific HRQoL instrument (GERD-QOL) for GERD patients.
