Plerixafor is an inhibitor of CXCR-4 (CXC chemokine receptor-4)/SDF (stromal cell-derived factor)-1 binding used in combination with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) for mobilization of autologous peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs).
