Objective: To develop a ribonuclease protection assay(RPA) kit for quantitative analysis of mRNA expression in the tissues and cells. Methods: On the base of the protocols and components from commercial kits, a RPA kit was developed. With isotope labeled probes of mouse β-actin and cyclophilin, the sensitivity of the kit was compared with Ambion product RPAⅢ.
