Abstract Detonation cell widths have been measured for stoichiometric hydrogenoxygendiluent mixtures in a 15-cm diameter, 7.5-m-long, steel pipe with helium, carbon dioxide, steam, and argon as diluents. The range of investigation included initial temperatures from 20° to 100°C, initial pressures from 200 to 160 kPa, and hydrogen concentrations up to 60% by volume.
