Modified matrix solid-phase dispersion (MMSPD) and gas chromatography have been developed for quantitative analysis of various classes of pesticides (pirimicarb, metalaxyl, metolachlor, isopropalin and pendimethalin) in soil. MMSPD used Florisil as dispersant and acetone as solvent. Determination was carried out by gas chromatography with nitrogen-phosphorus detection (GC-NPD).
