An improved high-performance liquid chromatographic method has been developed to measure human plasma concentrations of the analgesic nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug ketorolac for use in pharmacokinetic studies. Samples were prepared for analysis by solid-phase extraction using Bond-Elut PH columns, with nearly complete recovery of both ketorolac and the internal standard tolmetin.
