In the present study, assays were improved for the determination of catecholamines in human plasma. High-performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection was employed for quantitative analysis. The influence of various parameters on chromatographic performance, such as the composition and the pH of the mobile phase, and the detection potential, was investigated.
