A method has been developed to determine acrylamide in aqueous matrices by using direct immersion solid-phase microextraction (SPME) coupled to gas chromatography-positive chemical ionization tandem mass spectrometry (GC-PCI-MS-MS) in the selected reaction monitoring (SRM) mode.
