A high-quality three-dimensional structure of the bovine pancreatic trypsin inhibitor (BPTI) in aqueous solution was determined by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (n.m.r.) spectroscopy and compared to the three available high-resolution X-ray crystal structures.
