Aflatoxins are toxic and carcinogenic metabolites produced by species of Aspergillus, but Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus are of most concern.Aflatoxins compose a family of toxic compounds- B1 (most toxic), B2,M1,M2, G1 and G2. The present paper reports the differentiating between aflatoxin producing Aspergillus flavus and the non-producers.
