This paper considers the problem of detecting rogue base station in Wimax/802.16 networks. IEEE 802.16 is an emerging standard for broadband wireless communications that is receiving a lot of attention. Security support is mandatory for any communication networks. For wireless systems, security support is even more important to protect the users as well as the network provider.
