The recent article by Prabhakar et al. [1] and the Editorial by Schaller and Buchfelder [2] documents a continuing interest and exploration of the trigeminocardiac reflex (TCR), a phenomenon occurring during intraoperative manipulations of the fifth cranial nerve during its intraor extracranial course.
