Li abundances are derived for a sample of bulgelike stars with isochronal ages of 10-11 Gyr. These stars have orbits with pericentric distances, Rp, as small as 2-3 kpc and Zmax < 1 kpc. The sample comprises G and K dwarf stars in the metallicity range -0.80 ≤ [Fe/H] ≤ +0.40. Few data on Li abundances in old turnoff stars (≥4.5 Gyr) within the present metallicity range are available. M67 (4.7 Gyr) and NGC 188 (6 Gyr) are the oldest studied metal-rich open clusters with late-type stars. Li…

Detailed Analysis of Nearby Bulgelike Dwarf Stars. III. α-Element and Heavy-Element Abundances
The present sample of nearby bulgelike dwarf stars has kinematics and metallicities characteristic of a probable inner disk or bulge origin. Ages derived by using isochrones give 10-11 Gyr for these
Li-rich red giant branch stars in the Galactic bulge
Aims. We present Lithium abundance determination for a sample of K giant stars in the galactic bulge. The stars presented here a re the only 13 stars with detectable Lithium line (6767.18A) among∼400
Chemical evolution of the Galactic bulge as traced by microlensed dwarf and subgiant stars
Lithium abundances are presented for 91 dwarf and subgiant stars in the Galactic bulge. The analysis is based on line synthesis of the 7Li line at 6707 Å in high-resolution spectra obtained during
Lithium abundances in Bulge-like SMR stars
Abstract We analyze a sample of 21 super-metal-rich (SMR) stars, using high-resolution échelle spectra obtained with the FEROS Spectrograph at the 1.5m ESO telescope. The metallicities are in the
Lithium in stars with exoplanets
We present a comparison of the lithium abundances of stars with and without planetary-mass companions. New lithium abundances are reported in 79 planet hosts and 38 stars from a comparison sample.
The AMBRE Project: Constraining the lithium evolution in the Milky Way
Context. The chemical evolution of lithium in the Milky Way represents a major problem in modern astrophysics. Indeed, lithium is, on the one hand, easily destroyed in stellar interiors, and, on the

Detailed Analysis of Nearby Bulgelike Dwarf Stars. I. Stellar Parameters, Kinematics, and Oxygen Abundances*
High-resolution echelle spectra were obtained with the Fiber-fed Extended Range Optical Spectrograph at the 1.5 m ESO telescope for 35 nearby bulgelike stars with metallicities in the range -0.8 ≤
Lithium abundances in classical and weak T Tauri stars
A study on the lithium abundance in 36 T Tauri stars (mass range 0.4-2.25 M ⊙ ), partly based on high-dispersion spectra taken with the Isaac Newton Telescope, is presented. Veiling effects have been
Lithium in old open clusters: NGC 188
Echelle spectra which include the Li I line at 6707 A are reported for seven main-sequence stars and one subgiant in NGC 188. The Li I line is detected in five of the six dwarfs which are highly
The evolution of the lithium abundances of solar-type stars. III - The Pleiades
New measurements of lithium in more than 100 Pleiades F, G, and K dwarfs are reported. Abundances are determined from spectrum synthesis fits to the data as well as from use of new covers of growth
The evolution of the lithium abundances of solar-type stars. II - The Ursa Major Group
We draw upon a recent study of the membership of the Ursa Major Group (UMaG) to examine lithium among 0.3 Gyr old solar-type stars. For most G and K dwarfs, Li confirms the conclusions about
Lithium abundances of intermediate-mass, pre-main-sequence stars in Orion IC
Lithium abundances are determined for 23 pre-main-sequence (PMS) stars with masses 1.5 ≤ M/M ○ . ≤ 2.8 in or near the Orion Ic cluster. Six stars, five of which have uncertain membership status,
The Evolution of the Lithium Abundances of Solar-Type Stars. VIII. M67 (NGC 2682)
We have used the HIRES spectrograph on the Keck 10 m telescope to obtain echelle spectra of 25 solar-type stars in the old open cluster M67 (NGC 2682) and have used these spectra to derive lithium
Rotation, activity and lithium in NGC 6475
Radial and rotational velocities, chromospheric activity and lithium abundances are presented for an X-ray-selected sample of stars in the young (220 Myr) open cluster NGC 6475. Low-mass members of
Lithium in NGC 752
Echelle spectra recorded at the Li I 6707 A line are reported for 19 main sequence members of NGC 752, an open cluster about 2.5 times older than the Hyades. A sharp decline of the lithium abundance
The Evolution of the Lithium Abundances of Solar-Type Stars. IV. Praesepe
Echelle observations are presented of lithium in 63 F and G dwarfs of the Praesepe cluster. For stars earlier than about G0V, Praesepe follows the same trends seen in the Hyades, which has
