In this report we present “Chapar”, a publish-subscribe event system for mobile ad hoc networks. Chapar is designed to support mobility and to be robust to disconnections and networks partitions that often occur in mobile ad hoc networks. Chapar is part of the Transhumance middleware project [31, 32] and is designed as a cross-layer overlay architecture.
