  author={Joan Oca Baradad and Ingrid Masal{\'o} Llor{\`a}},
This work analyzes the simplest inlet and outlet configurations that create homogeneous rotating flow cells in rectangular aquaculture tanks, in order to combine the advantages of rectangular and circular tanks. All the configurations analyzed had a single jet discharge per rotating flow cell, with the drain placed in the center of each rotating flow cell. Length/width ratios (L/W) of 0.95, 1.43 and 1.91 were tested. In addition, the effect of placing oblique baffles in the walls to redirect…

Research on hydrodynamic characteristics of circular aquaculture tank based on PIV technology
The comprehensive test results show that the D/H and the setting angle of the inlet pipe obviously affect the flow field and hydrodynamic characteristics of the aquaculture tank.
Changes to flow and turbulence caused by different concentrations of fish in a circular tank
ABSTRACT The effects of juvenile Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) on flow and turbulence in a circular tank were investigated. Three fish sizes were studied (37.5 g, 82.5 g and 218 g) with between
Experimental research on the characteristics of sewage convergence in rectangular RAS tank
The performance of sewage convergence of the aquaculture tank is directly related to the water quality in the tank, and it is the key to the success of aquaculture. This paper takes the rectangular
