This paper proposes the design and construction of three phase, 220/380 V, 3.4/2.0 A, Delta/Y connected, 4 poles, 0.75 kW a self-exited induction generator (SEIG). Analysis of the designed SEIG uses a finite element method. The designed SEIG has been tested and compared with a standard SEIG under operating conditions such as no-load and on-load with pure resistive load.
