  • The aim of the present study was to prepare a sustained release suppository of propranolol hydrochloride, an antihypertensive drug for rectal administration. Firstly, the microspheres of Propranolol hydrochloride were formulated using ethyl cellulose by non- aqueous solvent evaporation technique.
