Dendrimeric Pt(II) complexes [(C(∧)N)Pt(dpm)] and [Pt(C(∧)N)2] (Hdpm = dipivaloylmethane, HC(∧)N = 1,2-diphenylbenzoimidazole and its derivatives containing the carbazole dendrons) have been synthesized and characterized systematically.
