Objective: Benzothiazole moiety containing various functional groups are found to have broad spectrum of biological activity and diverse chemical reactivity. The various pharmacological properties shown by the benzothiazole scaffolds were antitumor, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antimicrobial, antileishmanial, anticonvulsant, and anti HIV properties.
