This work involves the design and construction of a prototype of a robotic platform for to be used as a test bed. The prototype is based on the integration of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment in order to establish a mobile platform with basic autonomous skills of exploration and navigation. In addition to the autonomous mode, the platform also features a radio controlled mode, thus allowing a direct intervention by the user.
