The experimental vector competence of laboratory-reared Dermacentor hunteri Bishopp for Anaplasma marginale Theiler and Anaplasma ovis Lestoquard was evaluated by delayed transfer of male ticks from infected to susceptible Holstein calves and from infected to susceptible domestic sheep, respectively.
