Dental Flossing and Interproximal Caries: a Systematic Review

title={Dental Flossing and Interproximal Caries: a Systematic Review},
author={Philippe Pierre Hujoel and Joana Cunha-Cruz and David W Banting and Walter J. Loesche},
CRD summary This review systematically assessed the effect of dental flossing on interproximal caries risk and found that professional flossing in children with low fluoride exposure is effective in reducing it. The poor reporting of review methods, poor quality of the included studies and uncertainty about the appropriateness of statistical pooling mean that the reliability of the authors' conclusions is uncertain.
