  • An outbreak of dengue fever in Indonesia has caused over 450 deaths this year mainly among children. “Dengue has been around for many years but this year the number of cases is unusually high in at least 12 of 32 provinces of the country” Georg Petersen WHO’s representative in Indonesia told The Lancet.
