Dendrimer-mediated hydrothermal synthesis of ultrathin gold nanowires

Abstract

We report the use of poly(amidoamine) dendrimers as stabilizers to synthesize ultrathin Au nanowires (NWs) with a diameter of 1.3 nm via a hydrothermal approach.
