In this work, scanning electron microscopy (SEM)/energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were used to study the accelerated weathering coating degradation that occurred in two low gloss polyurethane aircraft coating systems.
