The zebrafish has become a popular experimental model organism for biomedical research. In this paper, a unique framework is proposed for automatically detecting Tyrosine Hydroxylase-containing (TH-labeled) cells in larval zebrafish brain z-stack images recorded through the wide-field microscope.
