BACKGROUND Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSA) is a common disorder associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. OBJECTIVES sL-selectin is an adhesion molecule released from the surface of leukocytes as they are activated and may inhibit leukocyte attachment to the endothelium.
