We consider error-correction over the Non-Binary Symmetric Channel (NBSC) which is a natural probabilistic extension of the Binary Symmetric Channel (BSC). We propose a new decoding algorithm for interleaved Reed-Solomon Codes that attempts to correct all “interleaved” codewords simultaneously.
