Decision Recording Framework for Wiimote Interactions

Abstract

The Decision Recording Framework for Nintento Wiimote Interactions (WiiDoRF) is a software framework for recording user defined game events and easily making games for this purpose. Such events are paired with physical Wiimote interactions by a user of WiiDoRF. These events are called “Decisions” and model a user action in the game. WiiDoRF is 100% open source, highly modular, Java written, and customizable. Furthermore, WiiDoRF is designed to be scaled to for large scale statistical data mining with its back end database. Ideally WiiDoRF could be used by educators and psychologists to study and keep track of a user’s learning.
