This paper examined the potential of using Pd/Fe bimetallic nanoparticles to dechlorinate chlorinated methanes including dichloromethane (DCM), chloroform (CF) and carbon tetrachloride (CT). Pd/Fe bimetallic nanoparticles were prepared by chemical precipitation method in liquid phase and characterized in terms of specific surface area (BET), size (TEM), morphology (SEM), and structural feature (XRD).
