This study attempted to determine (a) if there is a difference in the degree to which deception occurs in heterosexual versus homosexual/bisexual intimate relationships and (b) if the degree to which homosexuals/bisexuals are open about their sexual orientation affects the degree to which they engage in deceptive behavior with their intimate partners.
