Dit artikel behandelt de psychometrische eigenschappen van de Nederlandse versie van de Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS). Een van de doelstellingen voor het nieuwe instrument was te komen tot een vragenlijst met subschalen met een maximaal onderscheidend vermogen voor angst en depressie. De resultaten met betrekking tot de bruikbaarheid worden bediscussieerd en vergeleken met andere instrumenten.
