My article presents four general kinds of model-based graphical diagnostics: 1. Displays of raw data, with a model used to simulate the reference distribution of the displays (as in Figure 1). Conversely, Figure 2 illustrates the difficulty, in general, of interpreting data displays without a comparison to a reference distribution. 2. Similar displays of tests of lower-dimensional data summaries (e.g., scalars in Figure 3, and vectors in Figures 4 and 5(a)) compared to simulations from fitted…

GoRIM: a model-driven method for enhancing regulatory intelligence

The goal-oriented regulatory intelligence method (GoRIM), which enables effective management of regulations through modelling and data analytics, and provides practical guidelines and tools to regulators for making evidence-based decisions related to the addition, modification, or repeal of regulations and related regulatory initiatives.

Differences among Unique Nanoparticle Protein Corona Constructs: A Case Study Using Data Analytics and Multi-Variant Visualization to Describe Physicochemical Characteristics

Data informatics successfully highlights the differences between protein corona compositions and how they relate to nanoparticle surface charge in particle-to-protein interactions at the molecular level.

Water Quality Prediction Using KNN Imputer and Multilayer Perceptron

This study proposes a nine-layer multilayer perceptron (MLP) which is used with a K-nearest neighbor (KNN) imputer to deal with the problem of missing values and suggests that the model can achieve an accuracy of 0.99 for water quality prediction with the KNN imputer.
