The following paper explains the implementation of a system developed for wireless visible light communication. The novel approach creates a VLC system that can be used for local communication between two devices. This system is significantly easier to build and is very cost effective. The components used are common, inexpensive and simple to integrate. The system developed was used to transfer textual data from one computer to another at a baud rate of 9.6bps.
