    • ZusammenfassungKlinik: Das HIV-assoziierte Lipodystrophiesyndrom ist ein Erkrankungsbild, das mit steigender Häufigkeit vor allem bei antiretroviral behandelten HIV-Patienten beobachtet wird. Im Zentrum des Syndroms stehen ein Fettgewegsschwund im Bereich des Gesichts, der Extremitäten und des Gesäßes, eine Zunahme des viszeralen Fettes, Fettstoffwechselstörungen und Störungen des Glucosestoffwechsels.
