We compute the decay spectrum for dark matter (DM) with masses above the scale of electroweak symmetry breaking, all the way to the Planck scale. For an arbitrary hard process involving a decay to the unbroken standard model, we determine the prompt distribution of stable states including photons, neutrinos, positrons, and antiprotons. These spectra are a crucial ingredient in the search for DM via indirect detection at the highest energies as being probed in current and upcoming experiments…

χaroν: a tool for neutrino flux generation from WIMPs

Indirect searches for signatures of corpuscular dark matter have been performed using all cosmic messengers: gamma rays, cosmic rays, and neutrinos. The search for dark matter from neutrinos is of

Towards detecting super-GeV dark matter via annihilation to neutrinos

. The next generation of neutrino telescopes will feature unprecedented sensitivities in the detection of neutrinos. Here we study the capabilities of a large-scale neutrino telescope, like the

Sterile Neutrinos from Dark Matter: A $\nu$ Nightmare?

. We provide a comprehensive study of observable spectra from dark matter pair-annihilation or decay into sterile (right-handed) neutrinos. This occurs, for instance, in neutrino portal dark matter

Interleaved resonance decays and electroweak radiation in the Vincia parton shower

We propose a framework for high-energy interactions in which resonance decays and electroweak branching processes are interleaved with the QCD evolution in a single common sequence of decreasing

Constraints on heavy decaying dark matter with current gamma-ray measurements

Among the several strategies for indirect searches of dark matter, a very promising one is to look for the gamma-rays from decaying dark matter. Here we use the most up-to-date upper bounds on the

Heavy decaying dark matter at future neutrino radio telescopes

In the next decades, ultra-high-energy neutrinos in the EeV energy range will be potentially detected by next-generation neutrino telescopes. Although their primary goals are to observe cosmogenic

Astrophysical and Cosmological Probes of Dark Matter

While astrophysical and cosmological probes provide a remarkably precise and consistent picture of the quantity and general properties of dark matter, its fundamental nature remains one of the most

Black Hole Evaporation Beyond the Standard Model of Particle Physics

The observation of an evaporating black hole would provide definitive information on the elementary particles present in nature. In particular, it could discover or exclude particles beyond those

Constraints on heavy decaying dark matter from 570 days of LHAASO observations

The Kilometer Square Array (KM2A) of the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO) aims at surveying the northern γ -ray sky at energies above 10 TeV with unprecedented sensitivity. γ -ray

Theory Techniques for Precision Physics -- Snowmass 2021 TF06 Topical Group Report

The wealth of experimental data collected at laboratory experiments suggests that there is some scale separation between the Standard Model (SM) and phenomena beyond the SM (BSM). New phenomena can

The PYTHIA program can be used to generate high-energy-physics `events', i.e. sets of outgoing particles produced in the interactions between two incoming particles. The objective is to provide as

Heavy Thermal Dark Matter from a New Collision Mechanism.

We propose a new thermal freeze-out mechanism that results in dark matter masses exceeding the unitarity bound by many orders of magnitude, without violating perturbative unitarity or modifying the

Sensitivities of KM3NeT on decaying dark matter

The discovery of high-energy astrophysical neutrinos by IceCube has opened a new window to the Universe. However, the origin of these neutrinos is still a mystery, and some of them could be a result

Case for decaying spin- 3/2 dark matter

We couple a sterile neutrino sector to a spin-3/2 particle and show that with a Planck reduced coupling, we can naturally obtain a sufficiently long lifetime making the spin-3/2 particle a good dark

Constraining superheavy decaying dark matter with ultra-high-energy gamma rays from dwarf spheroidal galaxies

Dwarf spheroidal galaxies are compact stellar objects with small or negligible astrophysical backgrounds, widely considered as promising targets to search for a signal from the dark matter decay and
