The addition of non-renormalizable terms involving the Higgs fields to the MSSM (BMSSM) ameliorates the little hierarchy problem of the MSSM. For neutralino dark matter, new regions for which the relic abundance of the LSP is consistent with WMAP (as the bulk region and the stop coannihilation region) are now permitted. In this framework, we analyze in detail the direct dark matter detection prospects in a XENON-like experiment. On the other hand, we study the capability of detecting gamma-rays…

Neutralino dark matter detection beyond the MSSM
The addition of non-renormalizable terms involving the Higgs fields to the MSSM ameliorates the little hierarchy problem of the MSSM. For neutralino dark matter, new regions for which the relic
Neutralino dark matter and naturalness of the electroweak scale
If weak scale supersymmetry (SUSY) is to somehow explain the radiative stability of the Higgs boson mass, it is likely that non-minimal variants of SUSY models should be considered. Under the
Neutralino dark matter with a Light Higgs
We examine the neutralino dark matter phenomenology in supersymmetric scenarios with nonuniversal Higgs masses at the gauge coupling unification scale that can acommodate a light Higgs boson, where
Supersymmetric Higgses beyond the MSSM: An update with flavour and Dark Matter constraints
Spurred by the discovery of a boson resonance at the LHC as the result of the search for the Standard Model Higgs, we pursue our investigation of the properties and signatures of Higgses in an
The dark side of electroweak naturalness beyond the MSSM
A bstractWeak scale supersymmetry (SUSY) remains a prime explanation for the radiative stability of the Higgs field. A natural account of the Higgs boson mass, however, strongly favors extensions of
Detection of WIMP-like dark matter in some extensions of the Standard Model
One of the most popular classes of candidates for dark matter are Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs), i.e. particles possessing masses and couplings falling roughly within the electroweak
Multicomponent Dark Matter in Supersymmetric Hidden Sector Extensions
Most analyses of dark matter within supersymmetry assume the entire cold dark matter arising only from weakly interacting neutralinos. We study a new class of models consisting of U(1){sup n} hidden
Flavour physics constraints in the BMSSM
We study the implications of the presence of the two leading-order, non-renormalizable operators in the Higgs sector of the MSSM to flavour physics observables. We identify the constraints of flavour
Exploring SUSY light Higgs boson scenarios via dark matter experiments
We examine the dark matter phenomenology in supersymmetric light higgs boson scenarios, adapting nonuniversal Higgs masses at the gauge coupling unification scale. The correct relic density is
SUSY dark matter in light of CDMS II results: a comparative study for different models
We perform a comparative study of the neutralino dark matter scattering on nucleon in three popular supersymmetric models: the minimal (MSSM), the next-to-minimal (NMSSM) and the nearly minimal

BMSSM implications for cosmology

Neutralino dark matter in BMSSM effective theory
We study thermal neutralino dark matter in an effective field theory extension of the MSSM, called ``Beyond the MSSM'' (BMSSM) in Dine, Seiberg and Thomas (2007). In this class of effective field
Direct detection of neutralino dark matter in supergravity
The direct detection of neutralino dark matter is analysed in general supergravity scenarios, where non-universal soft scalar and gaugino masses can be present. In particular, the theoretical
Neutralino dark matter in mSUGRA: Reopening the light Higgs pole window
Abstract The requirement that the lightest neutralino χ ˜ 1 0 has the right thermal relic density to explain all dark matter in the universe strongly constrains the parameter space of supersymmetric
Beyond MSSM baryogenesis
Taking the MSSM as an effective low-energy theory, with a cutoff scale of a few TeV can make significant modifications to the predictions concerning the Higgs and stop sectors. We investigate the
Dark matter abundance and electroweak baryogenesis in the CMSSM
Abstract The Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model has a candidate dark matter particle in its spectrum, and may be able to generate the baryon asymmetry of the Universe (BAU) at the electroweak
Supersymmetric dark matter and neutralino-nucleon cross section ∗
