We investigate dark matter candidates emerging in recently proposed technicolor theories. We determine the relic density of the lightest, neutral, stable technibaryon having imposed weak thermal equilibrium conditions and overall electric neutrality of the Universe. In addition we consider sphaleron processes that violate baryon, lepton and technibaryon number. Our analysis is performed in the case of a first order electroweak phase transition as well as a second order one. We argue that, in…

Weakly interacting dark matter from the minimal walking technicolor

We study a weakly interacting dark matter particle motivated by minimal walking technicolor theories. Our WIMP is a mixture of a sterile state and a state with the charges of a standard model fourth

Glueballs in a thermal squeezeout model

Abstract It has been shown that a first order confinement phase transition can drastically change the relic dark matter abundance in confining dark sectors with only heavy dark quarks. We study the

Superweakly interacting dark matter from the Minimal Walking Technicolor

We study a superweakly interacting dark matter particle motivated by minimal walking technicolor theories. Our WIMP is a mixture of a sterile state and a state with the charges of a standard model

Dark side of strongly coupled theories

We investigate the constraints of dark matter search experiments on the different candidates emerging from the minimal quasiconformal strong coupling theory with fermions in the adjoint

Constraints on Majorana dark matter from a fourth lepton family

We study the possibility of dark matter in the form of heavy neutrinos from a fourth lepton family with helicity suppressed couplings such that dark matter is produced thermally via annihilations in

Ultraminimal technicolor and its dark matter technicolor interacting massive particles

We introduce an explicit model with technifermion matter transforming according to multiple representations of the underlying technicolor gauge group. The model features simultaneously the smallest

Muon flux limits for Majorana dark matter from strong coupling theories

We analyze the effects of the capture of dark matter (DM) particles, with successive annihilations, predicted in the minimal walking technicolor model (MWT) by the Sun and the Earth. We show that the

Naturality, unification, and dark matter

We consider a model where electroweak symmetry breaking is driven by technicolor dynamics with minimal particle content required for walking coupling and saturation of global anomalies. Furthermore,

Spontaneous baryogenesis from extremely light asymmetric dark matter

We present a mechanism where a particle asymmetry in one sector is used to generate an asymmetry in another sector. The two sectors are not coupled through particle number violating interactions and

First results from a search for weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) in the Cryogenic Dark Matter Search experiment at the Soudan Underground Laboratory set the world's lowest exclusion limits on the coherent WIMP-nucleon scalar cross section for all W IMP masses above 15 GeV/c2, ruling out a significant range of neutralino supersymmetric models.
