We show that, leaving aside accelerated cosmic expansion, all experimental data in high energy physics that are commonly agreed to require physics beyond the Standard Model can be explained when completing the model by three right-handed neutrinos that can be searched for using present-day experimental techniques. The model that realizes this scenario is known as the Neutrino Minimal Standard Model (nu MSM). In this article we give a comprehensive summary of all known constraints in the nu MSM…

Sterile neutrinos in the early universe
Although the Standard Model of elementary particles successfully describes the Universe up to the smallest known scales, we know that there exists a number of observational phenomena, which do not

New physics models with sterile neutrinos at different energy scales
Neutrino mass requires new physics beyond the Standard Model: sterile neutrinos are one such example. In general the mass scale of such particles is unknown, so that different model building

Astrophysical constraints on resonantly produced sterile neutrino dark matter
Resonantly produced sterile neutrinos are considered an attractive dark matter (DM) candidate only requiring a minimal, well motivated extension to the standard model of particle physics. With a

This model is reexamine and it is found that hot, warm, and cold dark matter are all possibilities and the number density of sterile neutrinos is proportional to [mu][sup 2]/M so that the energy density today is independent of M, which is crucial in determining the large scale structure of the Universe.
